Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the standards of conduct required of all Users of the ORE2B marketplace, including its website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Portal"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use and the Corporate and Individual Account Agreements. By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to be bound by the terms of this AUP.

Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.

1. Introduction

The purpose of this AUP is to protect ORE2B, its Users, and the public from illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise irresponsible activities. We expect Users to use the Portal in a manner that is legal, professional, and respectful of the rights of others. This AUP is not exhaustive, and we reserve the right to take action against any use of the Portal that we deem harmful, even if it is not explicitly prohibited herein.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Portal to engage in, promote, or facilitate any of the following activities:

2.1. Illegal and Fraudulent Activities

  • Violation of Law: Engaging in any activity that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation, including but not limited to laws regarding export control, sanctions, and anti-corruption.
  • Fraud: Committing any act of fraud, including misrepresenting your identity, affiliation, or the nature of a product or service. This includes phishing, pharming, or any other attempt to fraudulently obtain sensitive information.
  • Financial Crimes: Using the Portal in connection with money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other financial crime.

2.2. System and Security Integrity

  • Unauthorized Access: Accessing or attempting to access any system, account, or network without authorization.
  • Malicious Software: Distributing viruses, worms, Trojan horses, malware, spyware, or any other code of a destructive or disruptive nature.
  • Interference: Taking any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, or that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functioning of the Portal. This includes Denial of Service (DoS) or Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
  • Data Mining: Using any automated system, such as "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers," to scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the Portal for any purpose without our express prior written consent.
  • Security Testing: Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network without our express prior written authorization.

2.3. Abuse, Harassment, and Unsolicited Communications

  • Abuse and Harassment: Engaging in any conduct that is abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, libelous, or invasive of another's privacy.
  • Hate Speech and Discrimination: Distributing content that is discriminatory or promotes hatred or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
  • Spam: Sending, posting, or transmitting any unsolicited commercial communications, promotional materials, "junk mail," or "chain letters."

3. Prohibited Content

In addition to the restrictions outlined in our Listing Policy, you may not post, upload, or distribute any content that:

  • Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
  • Promotes or depicts gratuitous violence or illegal acts.
  • Infringes upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
  • Is knowingly false, deceptive, or misleading.

4. Enforcement

ORE2B reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. A violation may result in one or more of the following actions, without prior notice:

  • A written or verbal warning.
  • The removal or modification of content.
  • The temporary suspension of your account privileges.
  • The permanent termination of your Account.
  • Reporting the activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Our failure to enforce this AUP in every instance does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in any other instance.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, you are required to immediately notify us. Please report violations to [[email protected]] and provide detailed information to assist in our investigation.

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting to the Portal. Your continued use of the Portal after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the new AUP.
